Labcorp’s Patient Customer Service department within the Revenue Cycle Management Division is seeking energetic and customer-focused individuals to resolve patient billing issues. As a Customer Service Support Representative, you will be responsible for answering inbound calls, initiating payment plans, and resolving patient inquiries.
Role of the Job
As a Customer Service Support Representative, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer experiences through innovation and continuous improvement. You will be empowered to resolve patient billing issues and provide timely and accurate information to patients, doctors’ offices, and private insurance carriers.
Main Responsibilities
- Answer Inbound Calls: Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctors’ offices, and private insurance carriers.
- Initiate Payment Plans: Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances.
- Resolve Patient Inquiries: Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone.
- Maintain Performance Goals: Maintain performance goals and meet productivity standards.
- Become Proficient with Processes: Become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program.
Qualification needed
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently and manage time and tasks effectively.

Technical Requirements
- Internet Download Speed: Internet download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second.
- No Satellite Internet: No satellite internet allowed.
