Job Details

This is a part-time opportunity for a long-term contract, with up to 25 hours of work per week. However, hours may vary depending on scheduling needs.

Role of the Job

As a Customer Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing 24/7 support to SafetyWing’s members. You will be working with a ‘follow the sun’ model, which means you won’t have to do night shifts or very early mornings. Your primary responsibility will be to answer customer questions via live chat, email, and phone support, and proactively look for ways to improve the customer experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Answer Customer Questions: Respond to customer inquiries via live chat, email, and phone support.
  • Improve Customer Experience: Proactively look for ways to improve the customer experience and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Work Independently: Work independently and be a problem-solver, using your critical thinking skills to resolve customer issues.
  • Maintain Core Hours: Be available to work within the core time zones across EMEA.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Collaborate with the global team to ensure seamless support and resolve customer issues.

Qualification Needed

  • Have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Have the ability to work independently and be a problem-solver.
  • Be available to work on weekends, with usual shifts between 4 and 8 hours long.
  • Have experience with insurance, customer service, or healthcare (desired but not required).
