IJAD Dance Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freelance Professional Administrator to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled administrator to play a key role in supporting the company’s mission to bridge the performing arts and technology sectors.

Role of the Job

The Freelance Administrator will provide essential administrative support to IJAD Dance Company, ensuring the smooth operation of the organization. This role is at the heart of the company’s mission to foster innovation and creativity in the arts.

Main Responsibilities

• Research and Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential collaborators in the Live Hybrid Performance sector.
  • Gather and analyze information about key players, technologies, and funding opportunities to inform organizational strategy.
• Relationship Development
  • Build and maintain relationships with artists, technologists, industry professionals, and community stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison to strengthen partnerships with local authorities, arts boards, and other organizations.
• Panel Discussions and Knowledge Sharing
  • Identify opportunities to organize panel discussions and events that explore the intersection of performing arts and technology.
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for panel discussions, including speaker invitations, scheduling, and promotion.
• Administrative Support
  • Manage databases and administrative systems to streamline organizational processes.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and legal requirements, reporting to the Board of Directors as needed.
• Marketing and Outreach
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to promote panel discussions, performances, and other events across digital platforms.
  • Develop content and materials to engage audiences and attract media attention.

Qualification Needed

• 5+ years of administrative experience
• Knowledge of the performing arts/dance and digital sector
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Clear communication skills for meetings, emails, and promotions
• Ability to collaborate and work independently
