Public Sector Customer Service

A temporary Customer Service Specialist position is available in the Public Sector, offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will work from home, handling inbound calls from the public and providing exceptional customer service.

Location

  • Remote (work from anywhere)

Shifts:

  • Temporary Full-time 40 Hours, Monday – Friday between 8:00am and 8:00pm

Training Duration:

  • 3 days

Contract Duration:

  • Temporary contract for a duration of between 4-12 weeks, with the opportunity to go permanent within this time

Role of the Job

As a Customer Service Specialist, the successful candidate will handle inbound calls from the public, requiring booking or re-arranging appointments. This will include booking, re-scheduling, and cancelling appointments on a booking system. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have a high regard for efficiency and accuracy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from the public, responding to queries and providing exceptional customer service
  • Book, re-schedule, and cancel appointments on a booking system
  • Provide accurate information and support to callers, respecting and understanding their needs at all times
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting targets and deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records and data, preserving confidentiality at all times

Qualification Needed

To be eligible for this role, candidates must have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting targets and deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to establish collaborative customer relationships
  • Professional and friendly telephone manner
  • Experience of working in a target-driven environment to a high standard
  • PC skills, with the ability to navigate multiple systems competently

Salary Package

  • £25,396.80 per annum (£12.21 per hour)
