Role of the Job
The Associate – Operations will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to patients, pre-registering and scheduling patient appointments, and verifying patient insurance eligibility. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, partnering with them to facilitate empathetic and compassionate solutions.
Main Responsibilities
Don’t worry if you’re new to this role – free training is provided to help you get started! Once you’re up to speed, here’s what you’ll be responsible for:
- Pre-register and schedule patient appointments for assigned services to the appropriate location with the appropriate providers in an attentive and courteous manner.
- Document patient requests in Dental Pro to route to appropriate clinic resources when needed.
- Transfer calls to clinic areas when needed.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility prior to appointment and ensure information is correct in the patient’s Boomerang file.
- Make outbound calls to confirm patients, reschedule patients who do not make their appointments, and call patients who have treatment that needs to be completed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
