Role of the Job

As a Payroll Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with organizational and legal standards. Your primary responsibility will be to review and input employee master data into ADP and Deltek Costpoint, ensuring compliance with company policy and local, state, and federal regulations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Data Entry and Maintenance: Review and input employee master data into ADP and Deltek Costpoint, ensuring compliance with company policy and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Employee Support: Address basic payroll-related inquiries from employees and escalate complex issues as needed. Support the onboarding process by ensuring new hire payroll data is entered correctly.
  • Systems Utilization: Work with ADP and an ERP system to manage payroll data and generate reports as needed. Leverage Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data management and communication.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure payroll processes align with company policies and government regulations. Assist with preparing and distributing payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.

Qualification Needed

  • Basic knowledge of ADP payroll systems (Deltek Costpoint a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Basic understanding of payroll principles and compliance requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not mandatory)
