Role of the Job
The Jr Business Analyst will support the analysis and documentation of federal government IT applications and requirements. You will work closely with members of the internal and client teams, including subject matter experts, technical leads, and project managers, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive innovative solutions while maintaining security standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Support elicitation, gathering, review, recording, and analysis of functional and non-functional IT systems requirements
- Support development and implementation of approved software requirements, workflows, and testing
- Liaison between software developers and the client
- Support, update, and develop technical training materials, user manuals, presentations, and reports for software applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project delivery
- Ensure deliverables fully comply with the client’s quality, timeliness, budget, and security requirements
Qualification Needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
- proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Prioritize organization, showing attention to detail, consistency, and task completion
- Adapt to change by learning quickly and creatively solving problems
- Maintain knowledge regarding information technology techniques and procedures
- Awareness of Agile software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and working within Agile teams
- Awareness of design thinking principles for elicitation of software requirements
