  • The Developer Support Specialist role is based in the United States, and the company encourages employees to work in-office at least three days a week. However, this role is remote, so you can work from anywhere in the US.

Role of the Job

The Developer Support Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the success of Rippling’s customers. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve developer questions, provide technical guidance, and support the development of analytics and applications. Your work will have a direct impact on Rippling’s growth and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve developer questions via email or chat regarding API authentication and integration
  • Help customers design schemas, write SQL or other data markup scripting, and support development of Analytics and Applications that build on top of data
  • Support and debug both Rippling-managed and custom data connectors
  • Provide technical guidance and expert advice to customers on the effective and optimal use of Rippling’s Data Cloud
  • Provide feedback on system tools, product features, and other potential customer pain points
  • Work in a highly technical capacity, ensuring success for new and existing customers

Qualification Needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative fields, or relevant work experience
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Tableau (or other Business Intelligence tools), and Javascript or Python (other programming languages considered)
  • Experience building or troubleshooting REST APIs
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Technical Support environment or a similar technical function in a customer-facing role
  • Good understanding of ETL and Data Warehousing fundamentals and concepts
  • Experience with analysis, data analytics, dashboard creation, and BI
  • Ability to navigate a high-ambiguity environment and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
