Role of the Job

As a Customer Service Specialist, you’ll be the voice of Outdoor Roadie and the first point of contact for customers. Your role is essential in creating a seamless and welcoming customer journey. You’ll deliver friendly, knowledgeable support via email, chat, and phone, and help customers with product decisions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly, knowledgeable support via email, chat, and phone
  • Resolve inquiries about products, delivery, warranties, and technical use
  • Guide customers through product decisions with genuine enthusiasm and confidence
  • Monitor and track customer issues, escalating where necessary to ensure resolution
  • Gather feedback and report trends to help refine products and services
  • Help maintain and improve FAQ and support documentation for self-service

Qualification Needed

  • Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level or higher)
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer support or client-facing role
  • Experience with outdoor gear, vehicle-based travel, or overlanding is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify and tools like Zendesk or Gorgias is a bonus
