Role of the Job

The e-Filing Lead is responsible for ensuring that legal documents are filed accurately and efficiently. This involves reviewing and filing documents, training team members, and resolving issues with filings.

Main Responsibilities

  • Document Filing and Management(Data Entry)
    • Review jobs queued for filing in Skye
    • Review unqueued jobs from emails
    • File legal documents
  • Train and Guide Team Members
    • Train new hires on e-filing procedures
    • Provide guidance to team members on e-filing procedures
  • Resolve Filing Issues
    • Resolve issues with filings
    • Call and email courts, e-filing portals, account managers, and other individuals within the company as needed
  • Data Tracking and Reporting(Data Entry/Spreadsheet Management)
    • Track daily team metrics in a spreadsheet
    • Maintain spreadsheet functionality
  • Create and Maintain Documents
    • Create documents describing standard e-filing procedures
    • Maintain documents describing standard e-filing procedures
  • Assist E-Filing Managers
    • Assist with assigning work to team members
    • Assist with setting daily team goals
    • Calculate KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
    • Lead daily team huddle

  • Experience and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office; Intermediate Excel skills preferred
  • Basic coding and computer programming skills a plus
  • Typing speed of at least 70 wpm

Pay package

  • $43,000 – $53,000 per year, based on location
