Role of the Job
The Scriptwriter will be responsible for developing 4 high-quality scripts per week in alignment with a 3-month rolling content calendar. This role requires a strong understanding of social media trends and audience preferences in LATAM, as well as the ability to adapt writing style for different formats.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality scripts for educational, curiosity-driven, and interview-style content.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure scripts align with the brand’s voice, tone, and LATAM cultural context.
- Research trending topics, formats, and storytelling techniques to enhance audience engagement.
- Ensure timely delivery of scripts to meet the publishing schedule.
Qualifications Needed
- Proven experience in scriptwriting, particularly for short-form video content (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
- Strong understanding of social media trends and audience preferences in LATAM.
- Excellent command of Portuguese and Spanish (native/advanced); working proficiency in English is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the Brazilian, Mexican, and wider LATAM markets, including cultural and social media trends.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
