Deel is seeking a skilled Product Data Analyst to join the R&D Data Product Analytics team. As a Product Data Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in driving business growth by analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to inform product strategy.

Role of the Job
The Product Data Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with Product Managers, Product Operations, and Development teams to create actionable insights that drive product strategy. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse complex data sets and identify trends and insights.
- Monitor product and feature release performance, define baselines, and provide recommendations for optimisation.
- Develop extensive domain knowledge in dedicated product areas to proactively derive meaningful recommendations and insights.
- Help design and evaluate A/B tests to improve customer journeys.
- Create user-friendly dashboards and high-quality data visualisations that drive actions and support decision-making.
- Build data models in dbt with Analytics Engineers to create clean data structures and KPIs.
Qualifications Needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in product analytics.
- Hands-on experience with modern BI tools (preferably Looker), proficiency in SQL and product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Heap, Amplitude), and solid experience with Data Modeling (DBT).
- Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and experience dealing with stakeholders of varying seniority.
