Role of the Job
The Technical Writer will be responsible for writing clear and concise documentation to educate external developers about Pismo’s features and functionality. You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and other team members to collect source information, obtain technical reviews, and test code samples.
Main Responsibilities
- Write clear and concise documentation to educate external developers about Pismo’s features and functionality.
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other team members to collect source information, obtain technical reviews, and test code samples.
- Develop new external content from internal source documentation, and update existing resources by editing, reorganizing, and verifying the accuracy of code samples and instructions.
- Participate in initiatives to establish style guidelines and processes, and contribute ideas to enhance the Pismo developer experience.
Qualifications Needed
- Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, computer science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, with experience writing effective technical content for a developer audience.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and OpenAPI standards, with proficiency in JSON and Postman.
- Ability to communicate effectively with remote cross-functional team members.
