Job Description
The Insurance Verification Specialist will be responsible for verifying patient eligibility, coordinating benefits, and determining patient coverage/responsibility for services. This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls with customers, physician offices, patients, or third-party providers.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Respond to insurance-related phone calls
- Resolve customer and PBM concerns
- Verify benefits and coverage
- Assist with prior authorization process
- Document contact interactions and actions taken
