Job Description

The Insurance Verification Specialist will be responsible for verifying patient eligibility, coordinating benefits, and determining patient coverage/responsibility for services. This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls with customers, physician offices, patients, or third-party providers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  1. Respond to insurance-related phone calls
  2. Resolve customer and PBM concerns
  3. Verify benefits and coverage
  4. Assist with prior authorization process
  5. Document contact interactions and actions taken
