Aptem is seeking an experienced Events & Marketing Manager to join the team. This role will be responsible for planning and delivering Aptem’s calendar of virtual and in-person events, including the all-customer annual conference. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing team and cross-functionally across product, customer experience, and sales.

Role of the Job

The Events & Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and owning the events strategy, managing event-related budgets, and executing generalist marketing campaigns.

Main Responsibilities

  • Full, end-to-end responsibility for event management, including pre-event planning, team coordination, and delivery of exceptional attendee experiences.
  • Develop and own the events strategy in collaboration with marketing and leadership teams.
  • Event promotion via social, email, website, and partners.
  • Oversee event-related budgets and manage relationships with external suppliers, venues, and partners.
  • Support the marketing team with generalist marketing activities, including website updates, email communications, and social content.

Qualifications Needed

  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience managing B2B events, both remote and face-to-face.
  • Experience using GoToWebinar, Teams, or other similar webinar platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and report against KPIs.
  • Copywriting skills with the ability to write new content and repurpose existing content for new audiences and use cases.
  • Apprenticeship, professional qualification, or Bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Marketing, Business Development, or a Business-related field.

Salary: £45,000 per year
