Patient Representative

Firstsource Solutions USA, LLC is seeking a Patient Advocate Specialist to work remotely. This role involves resolving account balances for medical services by contacting patients and determining their eligibility for state, county, and federal assistance programs.

Job Description

The Patient Advocate Specialist will screen patients for eligibility, initiate the application process, and provide detailed instructions to patients regarding securing program benefits. This role requires excellent communication and organization skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  1. Screen patients for eligibility of State and Federal programs
  2. Identify patients’ needs and assist with applications
  3. Advise patients of program benefits and time limitations
  4. Record accurate documentation on patient accounts
  5. Maintain a positive relationship with patients
  6. Follow-up with assigned accounts until benefits are secured
