About the Role

As an Associate Data Analyst, you’ll join the Data Management function within Companies House’s growing Data Directorate. You’ll work alongside data engineers, analysts, developers, architects, and business teams to ensure organisational data remains accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose.

This position offers the opportunity to develop dashboards, automate data collection, monitor data quality, and communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You’ll also contribute to improving data governance standards while supporting the organisation’s digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

  • Analyse and monitor data quality across business services.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Automate data collection and reduce manual processes.
  • Work with Python, SQL or R to analyse large datasets.
  • Interpret data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Companies House and the wider Civil Service.
  • Present analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain documentation, metadata, and data quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
