Role of the Job
The Customer Service Advisor role is to support customers with their post-purchase needs. This includes handling inbound calls, tracking orders, checking order status, and resolving issues. You’ll use your problem-solving skills to find quick solutions and help frustrated customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from customers
- Assist customers with tracking numbers, order statuses, product returns, and other post-purchase needs
- Use problem-solving skills to find quick solutions
- Help de-escalate frustrated customers with empathy and professionalism
- Occasionally assist with upselling or cross-selling
Qualifications Needed
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least six months of experience in customer service
- High-speed internet access (download 10mbps+, upload 3mbps+, ping less than 175ms)
- Ability to accurately type at least 30 WPM
- Secured workspace with a door that’s only accessible to you during work hours
- Familiarity with iOS and/or macOS is preferred
- Flexibility to work hours, seven days per week, including weekend days
