• Job Title: Marketing Assistant
• Job Type: Contract / 1099 Contractor
• Location: U.S. Remote (not hiring in CA, CO, MT, NJ, or NY)
• Compensation: $28.00 – $33.00 per hour

Role of the Job

Support clients in executing marketing strategies, managing content, social media, email campaigns, and digital initiatives while enhancing brand presence and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit blog posts, social media content, emails, and sales materials
• Develop lead magnets and manage content calendars
• Implement social media strategies, engage with followers, and monitor brand sentiment
• Create email templates, manage segmented lists, and maintain workflows
• Edit audio and video clips for online use
• Design graphics using platforms like Canva
• Assist with CRM management and reporting
• Coordinate tasks within project management tools
• Research and maintain vendor relationships
• Optimize content for SEO and perform keyword research
• Manage online communities, podcasts, webinars, and online courses

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and email marketing
• Proficient with digital marketing and design tools such as Canva, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer, and Mailchimp
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Reliable home office setup with high-speed internet, Mac or PC, and smartphone
• Understanding of digital marketing best practices and legal guidelines
