About the Role
Cambridge University Press & Assessment is seeking a highly motivated Customer Data Manager to join its Assessment and Customer Support team in Cambridge, UK.
This exciting opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in data governance, customer data management, CRM systems, and business intelligence. The successful candidate will lead customer data governance initiatives, improve data quality standards, and support strategic decision-making across a global network of over 14,000 centres and 200,000 users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer data governance across Cambridge International Education
- Manage and mentor the Customer Support Data Administration team
- Develop and maintain customer data quality frameworks
- Design governance reports, KPIs, and performance dashboards
- Define and enforce data standards across systems
- Conduct root cause analysis for data-related issues
- Collaborate with CRM, analytics, and data teams
- Deliver staff training on data processes and best practices
- Manage data quality audits and compliance activities
- Ensure GDPR compliance and data integrity
- Represent Customer Support in organizational projects and programmes
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 2 years of people management experience
- At least 3 years of experience in data governance or data quality management
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or SAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good understanding of GDPR and data protection principles
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
