SSP is recruiting a Night Shift Cleaner to join the team at Kissing Gate, Liverpool Airport.

Salary and Working Hours

The basic pay rate is £12.85 per hour.

An additional £1.20 per hour is paid for hours worked between midnight and 6:00am, giving an effective rate of £14.05 per hour during those hours.

The role is part-time, working approximately 18–24 hours per week, with shifts from 8:00pm to 2:00am.

The successful applicant must be able to work flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank holidays and public holidays.

About the Role

As a Night Shift Cleaner, your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining cleanliness in customer-facing areas.
• Deep cleaning equipment, work surfaces and floors each day.
• Deep cleaning customer areas and the bar so they are ready for the following day.
• Following health and safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Taking pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Requirements

SSP is looking for someone who is friendly, hardworking and comfortable staying busy in a fast-paced environment.

You should be able to:

• Take initiative and work independently.
• Achieve cleaning and cleanliness standards.
• Take pride in your work.
• Work flexibly across different shifts and days.

Previous experience in deep cleaning, industrial cleaning, kitchen cleaning or other physically demanding cleaning environments is preferred.

The role requires 5 years of references and a Criminal Record Check.

Applicants must be 18 or over to carry out certain duties or work certain shifts.
