About the Job
Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Project Support Officer to join its Digital Information Technology (DIT) Project Management Office.
This opportunity is suited to someone with strong administrative, organisational, communication and IT skills who wants to contribute to digital projects supporting healthcare services.
Reporting to the Head of the DIT Project Management Office, you will work with project management colleagues and key stakeholders to support project delivery, governance and the implementation of digital initiatives across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to organise work effectively, maintain accuracy and support colleagues in a structured project environment.
Key requirements include:
- Education: At least five GCSEs at grades A*–C, or equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics and Science.
- Attention to detail: Ability to work accurately with detailed information and minimise errors.
- Organisation: Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines independently.
- Concentration: Ability to maintain accuracy and focus when handling information over extended periods.
- Teamwork: A collaborative approach, reliability, a positive attitude and willingness to share knowledge.
- Project experience: Understanding of structured project environments, change management and project management methodologies.
- IT skills: Experience using Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams, or similar systems.
- Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with people at different levels.

Salary and Contract
The position offers an annual salary of £28,392 to £31,157, under the NHS Agenda for Change pay scheme.
The appointment is for a fixed term of 14 months. The Trust states that the role could potentially become permanent if funding becomes available.
