Hospitable is a remote-only, fully distributed company that builds software for short-term rental hosts.
The company is looking for a Customer Support Advocate to help customers get the most from its product by providing fast, empathetic support and helping shape an exceptional customer experience.

What you will do
As a Customer Support Advocate, your responsibilities will include:
- Investigating and troubleshooting complex technical issues for customers, with support from the engineering team and internal tools.
- Onboarding customers and answering product questions throughout the customer journey.
- Providing support through live chat, email and Zoom calls.
- Creating bug reports and escalating issues to the engineering team.
- Creating and maintaining customer education materials, including product tours, videos, documentation and FAQs.
- Acting as a feature champion by communicating customer needs and feedback to product and engineering teams.
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to improve working practices and resolve customer issues.
Working schedule
The position is intended to support customers across European time zones.
The normal schedule is Monday to Friday, with some flexibility to provide occasional weekend coverage when other team members are absent.
Applicants must be based in a European time zone. Candidates based in other time zones will not be considered.

Requirements
Hospitable is looking for someone who:
- Has at least 3 years of hands-on technical support experience with a B2B or B2C SaaS product.
- Cares about the impact their work has on the team and wider company.
- Has strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Is comfortable working with a highly technical product and learning quickly.
- Can adapt to frequent product changes and improvements in a fast-moving development environment.
Experience as an Airbnb host or working with a short-term rental business would be an advantage.

Salary and benefits
The total compensation budget for the role is US$78,300 to US$106,912, depending on the cost of living in the candidate’s location.
Hospitable can hire international talent as contractors. Employees can be hired if they are based in the United States, European Union or Australia, subject to payroll considerations.
