Job Overview
Barchester Healthcare is recruiting a Head of Housekeeping to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and create a warm, homely environment within its care home in Dudley.
The role involves leading the housekeeping team while also taking a hands-on approach to the day-to-day cleaning of the care home. The successful candidate will help ensure residents’ rooms and living areas are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the housekeeping team.
- Take an active role in the day-to-day cleaning of the care home.
- Maintain high standards across residents’ rooms and communal living spaces.
- Lead by example and ensure housekeeping standards are consistently maintained.
- Support a clean, welcoming and comfortable environment for residents.
- Work closely with other staff, residents and their relatives.
Requirements
Experience of housekeeping in a care home, hospital or hotel environment is considered advantageous.

- Willingness to participate in hands-on housekeeping duties.
