Working Hours and Shifts

A range of flexible shifts is available:

  • Early shifts
  • Late shifts
  • Long-day shifts
  • Night shifts

Shift durations: 6, 9, 12 or 15 hours

Working days: Monday to Sunday

Key Responsibilities

The Health Care Assistant / Support Worker will be responsible for supporting service users with their everyday care and wellbeing needs.

Duties include:

  • Assisting service users with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and grooming
  • Supporting mobility and using assistive equipment
  • Preparing meals and drinks
  • Monitoring dietary intake
  • Assisting with toileting and incontinence care
  • Changing clothes and bedding when required
  • Supporting daily living activities
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Assisting with medication management where required
  • Maintaining clear and professional communication with service users and colleagues
  • Following company policies and professional standards
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Reporting relevant information to healthcare professionals

Experience Requirements

No previous care experience is required.
