About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will help students achieve their educational goals by supporting teaching, learning, and classroom activities. You will work closely with teachers and colleagues to ensure students receive the guidance and support they need to succeed.

This role is ideal for compassionate, flexible, and motivated individuals who enjoy working with young people and making a positive impact in education.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teaching and classroom learning activities
• Prepare lesson materials and learning resources
• Monitor and support students’ academic progress
• Provide feedback and encouragement to students
• Assist with student assessments and coursework
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams
• Deliver tutorial and skills sessions when required

Requirements

Applicants should have:

• GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 or equivalent
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for supporting young learners

A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential, as training and development opportunities are available.
