About the Role
As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing both one-to-one and small-group academic support. You’ll help learners engage in lessons, build confidence, and overcome barriers to learning while collaborating with teachers and the school’s SEN department.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 support to students with SEN.
- Assist small groups during classroom activities.
- Help students remain engaged and confident in lessons.
- Adapt learning support to meet individual needs.
- Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to promote student success.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A 2:2 degree or higher in any subject.
- A genuine interest in supporting students with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, positive, and reliable attitude.
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate, or be willing to obtain one.
