About the Duty Worker Role
St Mungo’s is recruiting Duty Workers to join its supported accommodation services in London.

Where Will You Work?

Adamson Road
Adamson Road is a 24-hour supported living service providing a safe and supportive environment for 21 single homeless adults aged 25 and over who have mental health support needs.
The service aims to help residents:
- Develop independent living skills
- Build confidence
- Sustain their tenancy
- Improve their wellbeing
- Become more independent within the community
Court Gardens and Barnsbury Road
Court Gardens and Barnsbury Road are high-needs supported accommodation services commissioned by Islington Council.
Court Gardens provides accommodation and support for up to 12 adult men, while Barnsbury Road supports up to 21 adults in mixed-gender accommodation.
Many residents experience mental health needs alongside other challenges, including:
- Substance misuse
- Physical health conditions
- Homelessness
- Complex support needs
Both services operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing continuous support to residents.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Duty Worker, you will work alongside other members of the team to support the safe and effective day-to-day running of the service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing basic support and advice to clients
- Supporting people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable housing situations
- Helping clients develop skills for independent living
- Supporting clients with multiple or complex needs
- Promoting wellbeing and recovery
- Helping clients build confidence and independence
- Working collaboratively with other members of the service team
- Contributing to the safe day-to-day operation of the accommodation service
