About the Opportunity

The British Heart Foundation is recruiting a Sales Assistant to join its retail team in Peterborough.

This is a permanent, part-time position offering 17.5 hours per week at £12.71 per hour plus benefits.

The store operates 7 days a week, so flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Engage with customers and promote the charity’s mission.
  • Operate the till and support daily retail activities.
  • Sort and process donated items.
  • Organise and merchandise donated stock.
  • Maximise sales opportunities.
  • Work with the E-Commerce team to support online sales.
  • Support and guide volunteers on the shop floor.
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation.
  • Work effectively in a busy team environment.

What Are They Looking For?

Previous retail experience is not essential.
