Working Pattern
This position requires regular shift work between 6:00am and midnight, seven days a week, including public holidays.
The role operates on a five-day working week, with 7.2 working hours per day and a one-hour lunch break. The four-week working pattern provides the opportunity for four consecutive days off every four weeks.
Working patterns and rotas are subject to regular review and change.

Key Responsibilities
As a Road & Traffic CCTV Enforcement Officer, you will undertake statutory duties associated with Civil Enforcement Officers under the Traffic Management Act 2004.
Responsibilities include:
- Enforcing moving traffic contraventions using CCTV.
- Enforcing bus lane contraventions.
- Enforcing parking contraventions through CCTV.
- Working from back-office CCTV control rooms.
- Processing manual CCTV enforcement activity.
- Processing unattended ANPR CCTV activity.
- Processing CCTV scheme permits.
- Maintaining CCTV scheme performance logs.
- Undertaking relevant administrative functions.
- Working with residents and partner services.
- Managing a varied caseload.
- Resolving problems and addressing support needs.
- Communicating effectively with residents and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with colleagues and partner organisations.

Parking Enforcement Experience Not Required
Previous parking enforcement experience is not mandatory.

CCTV, ANPR and Office-Based Working
The role involves regular attendance at back-office CCTV control rooms and includes manual and unattended Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) CCTV processing.
There is limited capacity for remote working, so applicants should be prepared to attend the office regularly.
DBS and Security Vetting
Successful applicants will be required to successfully pass the required DBS security vetting checks before being considered for the post.
