About the Justice AI Academy
The Justice AI Academy provides emerging talent with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on high-impact artificial intelligence projects across the justice system.
As a Creative Intern, you will work with colleagues across engagement, adoption, product and engineering teams to help communicate the work of the Justice AI Unit in clear, creative and accessible ways.
This is a hands-on development opportunity where you will take responsibility for defined pieces of work while receiving mentoring and support from experienced colleagues.
You will not be expected to lead communications strategy, manage staff or take responsibility for senior stakeholder management.
The role contributes to the ambitions of the AI Action Plan for Justice by helping people understand and engage with AI, supporting responsible adoption and developing future capability.
What You Will Do
As a Justice AI Academy Creative Intern, your responsibilities may include:
- Creating and editing engaging written content.
- Producing visual, photographic and video content.
- Creating and publishing accessible social media content.
- Developing digital communications for different audiences.
- Turning complex AI topics into clear and engaging communications.
- Supporting communications for AI and productivity-tool roll-outs.

Interview and Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of two stages.
Stage One – Technical Assessment
