Job Description:
Cedarstone Global is a financial data and analytics firm looking for a junior-level Data Analyst to join their analytics team. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work directly with brokerage data, including client accounts, trading volumes, deposit activity, and performance trends. No advanced modeling or prior finance experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, sort, and structure raw trading data from brokers and internal systems
- Analyze client activity patterns, trade frequency, deposit/withdrawal flows, and volume behavior
- Support weekly reporting on KPIs like ROI, drawdown, lot size, and churn
- Assist in building basic dashboards or performance trackers using Excel or Power BI
- Work with senior analysts to identify trends and surface useful business insights
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
- Proficient in Excel (formulas, sorting, filters, basic charts)
- Willingness to learn tools like Power BI, SQL, or Google Sheets
- Good written communication skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently
