The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) is seeking a Senior Digital Learning Lead to help shape the future of online education in cancer science and oncology. This is a strategic role focused on designing, developing, and evaluating high-quality digital learning experiences in a postgraduate research environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of premium online professional courses
- Develop frameworks for digital learning delivery and pedagogy
- Advise academic staff on digital teaching and learning strategies
- Enhance and optimise the virtual learning environment (Canvas)
- Explore and implement emerging technologies, including generative AI in education
- Collaborate with academic and professional services teams
Requirements
- Strong experience in higher education digital learning or instructional design
- Proven ability to work with academic staff to improve online learning
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders
- Deep understanding of digital pedagogy and course design
- Interest in emerging education technologies, including AI
