Overview
AbBaltis is seeking reliable and detail-focused individuals to join its Laboratory Shipping Team. This is a structured, process-driven role involving the preparation, packing, and dispatch of laboratory samples in line with SOPs and IATA guidelines.
Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and pack laboratory samples for shipment according to SOPs and IATA regulations
- Attend daily morning shipping briefings and record customer requirements
- Verify lot numbers, sample details, and documentation accuracy
- Scan and distribute shipping paperwork to relevant teams
- Monitor and manage dry ice storage and usage
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Replenish packing supplies and consumables
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the line manager
Candidate Requirements
Essential Requirements
- GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade C or above or equivalent)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable Requirements
- Previous laboratory or warehouse experience (not essential)
- IATA certification
