The Senior Analytics Engineer will play a key role in building and scaling the company’s data platform, enabling data-driven decision-making across product, growth, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain analytics infrastructure using BigQuery, dbt, Dagster, and Mixpanel
- Develop scalable, modular, and well-documented data models
- Own and evolve semantic layers and metrics catalog
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Growth, and RevOps teams
- Improve product analytics instrumentation using Avo and event data
- Deliver insights that influence business and product strategy
- Support self-serve analytics across the organization
- Mentor team members and promote best practices in analytics engineering
Requirements
- 3–5+ years experience in analytics engineering or data engineering
- Strong SQL skills and experience with dbt
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery preferred)
- Knowledge of CI pipelines and modular data modeling
- Experience working with event-level product analytics data
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Focus on code quality, reproducibility, and data trust
