About the Investment20/20 Programme

Invesco is proud to participate in the Investment20/20 initiative, offering entry-level traineeship opportunities designed specifically for school leavers. This 12-month programme provides practical industry experience, professional development, and exposure to various aspects of investment management.

Role Overview

The Junior Analyst will support the EMEA Distribution Management Team across both Business Management and Strategy & Execution functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in business strategy, financial analysis, market research, and stakeholder engagement within a global investment firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of high-quality presentations focused on business strategy and key priorities.
  • Assist in executing strategic projects alongside senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
  • Extract, manipulate, and summarise data from Salesforce dashboards.
  • Analyse market flows, assets under management (AUM), and asset-class performance data.
  • Monitor and report on business financial performance and fund flows.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards for key business metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights to support decision-making processes.

Requirements

  • Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualisation.
  • Confidence creating presentations and communicating insights through PowerPoint.
  • Experience using coding techniques to manipulate and prepare datasets for analysis.
  • Ability to interpret financial and market data from multiple sources.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to school leavers seeking entry-level industry experience.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK until at least October 2027.
  • Industry placement year students are not eligible for this programme.
