About the Role
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping women with mental health conditions receive compassionate, person-centred care. Working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide emotional and practical support while promoting recovery, dignity, and independence.
Your responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality physical and emotional support.
- Assisting with patients’ medical and welfare needs.
- Encouraging independence and recovery.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ wellbeing.
- Safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
About Cygnet Kenney House
Cygnet Kenney House is a specialist women’s mental health hospital in Oldham, developed in partnership with the NHS. The hospital includes:
- 12-bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- 16-bed Acute Mental Health Ward
- 16-bed Rehabilitation & Recovery Ward
