Working Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

About the Role

As a Lead Data Analyst, you will play a key leadership role within the Online Data Team. You will mentor fellow analysts while developing advanced reporting solutions, designing scalable data models, building interactive Power BI dashboards, and delivering strategic insights that support business growth and customer service operations.

Working closely with the Contact Centre Management Team, you’ll help transform business data into actionable intelligence through automation, reporting, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor members of the Online Data Team.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for technical and analytical challenges.
  • Design and improve reporting solutions and analytical processes.
  • Gather business requirements and convert them into data-driven solutions.
  • Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Clean, validate, and maintain high-quality datasets.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Analyse operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Deliver meaningful KPI reporting and business insights.
  • Improve existing IT and reporting solutions.
  • Train end users on Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies and analytics best practices.

Essential Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • Strong SQL and Python (or similar programming language) skills.
  • Advanced Power BI dashboard development experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with data modelling and data warehousing.
  • Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills

The following would be an advantage:

  • Databricks
  • Azure DevOps
  • Contact centre analytics experience
  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline (or equivalent commercial experience)
