Job Overview
British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) is looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to join its Birmingham South unit on a casual/bank basis.

About the Role
As an Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for a range of administrative and client-support duties.
You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a professional, friendly and positive approach when dealing with clients, colleagues and external organisations.
The role involves working directly with clients and may include supporting people who are upset or distressed.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering and directing telephone queries appropriately.
- Liaising with internal and external colleagues when required.
- Checking and completing BPAS and legal documentation accurately.
- Ensuring all relevant documentation is available for each client’s episode of care.
- Monitoring, editing and amending appointment lists.
- Using the BPAS booking system to manage appointment information.
- Informing clients when changes to appointments are necessary.
- Assisting with monitoring and controlling stock levels.
- Ordering stock when required.
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail.
- Preparing and dispatching statistical information and reports.
- Providing general administrative and clerical support within the unit.
- Supporting clients and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
