Job Overview

VisitBritain/VisitEngland is recruiting a Business Analyst – Data & Analytics to join its Data & Analytics team and support the operational and analytical workstreams of the Short-Term Rental Registration Scheme (STR Scheme).

This is a programme-critical position offering the successful candidate an opportunity to work across data, technology, programme governance and stakeholder engagement.

The Business Analyst will help connect technical delivery with programme requirements, ensuring that data needs are clearly defined, actions are properly tracked and stakeholders have the information required to support effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operational and analytical workstreams of the STR Scheme.
  • Connect technical delivery with programme governance.
  • Gather and define data requirements.
  • Support the data platform team and operational data build processes.
  • Track actions and ensure appropriate ownership.
  • Help provide information required for programme decision-making.
  • Engage with booking platforms, Local Authorities and Local Visitor Economy Partnerships.
  • Understand stakeholder data needs.
  • Support the operationalisation of stakeholder engagement.
  • Contribute to data-driven processes benefiting the visitor economy.
