About the Role
The University of Manchester has more than 16,000 students and staff participating in organised sport and physical activity through the University.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Sport Operations Team, in liaison with the Sport Coordinator (Operations), helping to ensure the effective day-to-day operation and maintenance of the University’s sporting facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operation of the sport centre.
- Maintain indoor and outdoor areas of the facility.
- Help provide a safe, welcoming and high-quality environment.
- Deliver a positive experience for facility users.
- Support the wider Sport Operations Team.
- Work closely with the Sport Coordinator (Operations).
- Contribute to the delivery of sport and physical activity opportunities.
Working Hours and Shift Pattern
This position is 35 hours per week.
The current shift pattern is:
Monday: 13:30 – 23:00
Tuesday: OFF
Wednesday: 06:45 – 14:45
Thursday: 13:00 – 23:00
Friday: OFF
Saturday: OFF
Sunday: 08:15 – 19:45
Note: Days on shift include a one-hour unpaid break.
