Key Responsibilities
The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for:
- Acting as a customer liaison with internal CrowdStrike stakeholders.
- Ensuring customer feedback is properly documented and assessed.
- Resolving customer problems through telephone, email, live chat and remote access.
- Researching technical issues and providing timely recommendations and action plans.
- Escalating cases to management when customer satisfaction is at risk.
- Participating in functional groups to identify and resolve escalated cases.
- Working with development engineers, technical experts, knowledge bases and internal tools to provide effective solutions.
- Creating knowledge-base content to capture new technical knowledge.
- Sharing technical knowledge and best practices with team members.
- Providing clear technical and non-technical guidance to customers.
- Helping customers integrate, deploy and maintain CrowdStrike services.
- Taking end-to-end ownership of customer issues.
- Performing initial troubleshooting and identifying root causes.
- Driving issues through to resolution.
- Maintaining high standards for response quality and customer experience.
- Acting as an internal point of contact for customer escalations.
- Collecting information and documenting product bugs for Engineering teams.
- Identifying opportunities to improve technical support processes.
- Serving as a Subject Matter Expert for at least one key product feature.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in customer support, technical support, system administration or a related customer-facing position.
- Demonstrable experience supporting and deploying cloud technologies.
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Relevant cloud technology certifications are advantageous.
- Strong expertise in managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes and containers.
- Technical expertise with Linux platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent relationship-management and customer-service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience communicating through live chat, conference calls and other channels.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
