Job Overview
Barker Ross is recruiting Production Operatives to join a leading food and beverage company based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
This is an ongoing opportunity offering full-time work, weekly pay and an immediate start.
The role involves working with dairy products in a cold/chilled warehouse environment, so applicants must be comfortable working in low temperatures.
Working Hours
The initial shift pattern is:
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am–2:00pm
Please note that the shift pattern is expected to potentially change to a 4-on, 4-off schedule within the next few weeks.
Candidates must therefore be flexible and able to accommodate this change.
Key Responsibilities
As a Production Operative, your duties may include:
- Packing and repacking dairy products
- Labelling products ready for dispatch
- Wrapping and strapping pallets
- Moving stock around the warehouse
- Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
- Following workplace health, safety and production procedures
Requirements
Applicants should:
- Have previous warehouse or production experience, although this is beneficial rather than essential
- Be comfortable working in a chilled or cold environment
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be able to work the required Monday-to-Friday shift
- Be flexible to potentially move to a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
