Cygnet Health Care is looking for a confident Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join its Gotts Park – Yorkshire Supported Living service in Leeds.

The role is permanent and full-time, working 42 hours per week on nights only, with 12-hour shifts and alternate weekends.

About the Role

The Support Worker will provide care and support to people living at Gotts Park, a supported living service in Leeds.

The service provides 18 tenancies and supports individuals with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. It helps people who may previously have been detained in hospital settings move towards greater independence within the local community.

The role involves providing personalised support while helping service users maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced care and support to service users
• Offer physical and emotional support, guidance and encouragement
• Understand individual needs and provide appropriate assistance
• Assist with medical and welfare needs
• Report concerns and relevant information as required
• Safeguard service users
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Support service-user independence
