About Liverpool City Council

Liverpool City Council is looking for an experienced ICT Project Manager to join its ICT & Digital department and support transformational programmes across the council.

The role offers an opportunity to contribute to major technology and digital projects that improve the way the council works and the services provided to Liverpool residents.

About the Role

As an ICT Project Manager, you will help deliver complex ICT and digital solutions across the council’s estate, working within agreed cost, quality and delivery parameters.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Interpreting customer requirements and identifying project objectives.
  • Confirming client expectations and defining project scope.
  • Producing and maintaining detailed project plans.
  • Managing project risks and issues.
  • Agreeing project budgets with clients.
  • Leading internal and external project teams and work groups.
  • Delivering transformational ICT and digital programmes.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in line with appropriate project management principles.
  • Implementing technology solutions that support the needs of Liverpool City Council.

The council is seeking a qualified project manager with demonstrable project delivery experience.

You should have:

  • Good knowledge of Local Government Services.
  • A detailed understanding of Agile or PRINCE2 project management frameworks.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects.
  • The drive and passion to contribute to transformational change.
  • The ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing projects involving technology and digital solutions.

Visa Sponsorship / Right to Work
