About the role
Homes England is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Events and Engagement Officer to join its Market Engagement team.
The successful candidate will help deliver a varied programme of high-profile conferences, stakeholder engagements and employee events designed to support the organisation’s strategic objectives and strengthen relationships across the housing, regeneration and investment sectors.
The role involves working with senior leaders, external stakeholders and colleagues across Homes England and the National Housing Bank. You could be involved in major sector events such as UKREiiF, Homes England Live and MIPIM, as well as stakeholder roundtables, regional engagement events, conferences and internal colleague events.
Key responsibilities
The Events and Engagement Officer will:
- Coordinate internal and external events, conferences and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Manage event logistics and ensure events are delivered professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinate external speaking engagements and engagement activity across the organisation.
- Develop and maintain event planning tools, guidance and delivery documentation.
- Support event budgets and supplier relationships while ensuring value for money.
- Build effective relationships with colleagues, event organisers and external partners.
- Support senior colleagues before, during and after events.
- Evaluate events and provide insights and recommendations for future activities.
- Help develop consistent processes and tools for event delivery across the organisation.
- Produce reports, briefings and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure engagement activity supports organisational priorities.

- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Experience managing suppliers, venues and event logistics would be advantageous.
- Experience using CRM, stakeholder management or event management systems would be beneficial.
