About the Role
BPAS is looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to support the day-to-day running of its Bournemouth unit.
You will be responsible for a range of administrative, reception and client-support duties, helping ensure that documentation, appointments, communications and other administrative processes are handled accurately and efficiently.
The role involves regular interaction with clients, colleagues and external organisations, so BPAS is looking for someone who communicates confidently and maintains a friendly, positive and professional approach.
Key Responsibilities
As an Admin Assistant, your duties will include:
- Answering and directing telephone queries and liaising with internal and external colleagues.
- Checking and completing BPAS and legal paperwork accurately.
- Ensuring the required documentation is available for each client’s episode of care.
- Monitoring, editing and amending appointment lists using the BPAS booking system.
- Informing clients when changes to their appointments are required.
- Supporting the monitoring, control and ordering of stock.
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail.
- Preparing and dispatching statistical information and reports.
- Providing general administrative and reception support to the unit.
- Supporting clients and colleagues in a professional and compassionate manner.
Requirements / Person Specification

Working Pattern
This is a 15-hour-per-week permanent part-time position.
