The AI Enabled Threat Coordinator will work at the heart of this national programme, helping police forces collaborate, share intelligence, and adopt innovative technologies that improve public safety.
About the Role
Artificial intelligence is changing the way crime is committed and investigated. Criminals increasingly use AI technologies such as:
- Deepfake images and videos
- AI-generated fraud
- Identity impersonation
- Automated phishing attacks
- Advanced cybercrime tools
The successful candidate will coordinate national policing activities aimed at identifying, monitoring, and responding to these emerging threats.
Working closely with police forces, intelligence agencies, government departments, and research organisations, you will ensure that valuable intelligence and innovative technologies are shared effectively across UK policing.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate national policing activities relating to AI-enabled crime.
- Build strong relationships with police forces across the UK.
- Work with Regional Organised Crime Units (ROCUs).
- Collaborate with the National Crime Agency (NCA).
- Engage with the Home Office and government departments.
- Improve intelligence collection and information sharing.
- Translate intelligence into operational guidance.

Salary
