Job Overview

Cambridge City Council is looking for an organised and proactive S106 Support Officer to help coordinate, monitor and support projects funded through Section 106 contributions.

The role will work across City Services and involve project administration, governance, data management, reporting and stakeholder coordination. It offers an opportunity to contribute to projects designed to deliver long-term benefits for communities across Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the S106 Monitoring Board, including meetings, actions and reporting.
  • Support the delivery and monitoring of S106-funded projects.
  • Maintain accurate project records and performance information.
  • Work with Planning, Finance and Project Officers to support compliance and effective project delivery.
  • Assist with Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, reports and stakeholder communications.
  • Support more efficient and data-led ways of working.
  • Help ensure Section 106 contributions are effectively monitored and used for community benefit.

Working Pattern and Hybrid Working

This is a part-time position of 15 hours per week for an 18-month fixed-term period.

Working days are flexible and can be discussed with the successful candidate.

Salary and Benefits

The salary is £33,672 – £37,562 per annum (City Pay Band 4), pro rata for part-time hours.
