About the Role

ISS Facilities Services is seeking a Technical Asset Analyst to quality assess incoming building asset survey data and ensure that asset information is accurate, complete, compliant and fit for purpose.

The successful candidate will support the AVDV Programme by conducting detailed technical and data reviews of mechanical and electrical (M&E) and fabric asset information.

The role will help maintain the accuracy, consistency and quality of data supporting a robust and compliant building asset register.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out desktop asset verification to confirm assets physically exist, are correctly identified and correctly located.
  • Review building levels and rooms against building floor plans.
  • Check incoming asset survey data against the existing client asset register.
  • Review asset naming conventions and ensure alignment with the appropriate maintenance SFG20 schedule.
  • Check that asset data meets relevant legal, safety and engineering standards.
  • Ensure all required assets forming part of major building systems have been captured.
  • Apply strict version-control processes.
  • Maintain trackers and appropriate folder structures.
  • Quality-check asset surveys for data errors and inconsistencies.
  • Work with technical and operational stakeholders to maintain high data-quality standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants should have:

  • Previous experience as an Asset Manager or Asset Surveyor — essential.
  • Strong knowledge of building, engineering and maintenance standards and regulations.
  • Understanding of fire and water regulations and their application in asset management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on data quality.
  • Experience using CAFM systems, including Maximo and Concept — essential.
  • Confidence working with technical and operational stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
